If they want to dress gaudy, then who are these catholics and episcopalians to criticize them for the way they dress?

I agree. I had to laugh when someone told me that they thought the TBN sets were way too lavish. Most of the furniture and decor is donated.. and I watched video of Jan... (wig, makeup & all) in jeans and sweatshirt... spray-painting the styrofoam " gold pillars" for one of their sets... while Paul walked around giving the tour of the new station they'd just had built.

Paul and some of his guests always poke fun at Jan for her makeup... especially the eyelashes. (she's had them fall off on camera...and plucks the other and keeps going) Who knows "why" she likes it? Who cares?

These Freepers who get their kicks cutting down TBN and the Crouch's are also some of the ones who cry: Ban this poster or that one, their fingers are quick on the "abuse" button.

How about 2 other cons, Dr Gene Scott and the always pompous and overbearing Rev.Shuler. Anybody want to tell the tale about how the little guy in the house next to Shuler's empire threw a monkey wrench into his expansion plans.
