Ya know, I've thought about that. I think once you establish yourself, you can get away with being conservative/libert(like a Woods or Heston still getting roles) but I'll keep my mouth shut until then.

I'd love to be someone that FReepers down the road would say is "one of ours." We'll see...long road ahead still.

You can be a conservative in the industry. I have been for over ten years. The trick is being discreet. Of course, it's a lot easier today to acknowledge your political leanings than a few months ago. Only above-the-line tends to lean left. However, they are the most vocal and have the highest profile. Most crew members are moderates to conservative.

In my profession (writing), people tend to run the extremes. Hard to be a liberal and work on a script full of guns and explosions. Of course, the people that write the touchy-feely crap have exactly the kind of political views you'd expect.
