I would say yes, it does immense damage to the Constitution. It gives the government the doorway to seize property without a trial or even charges to be filed. When they are letting violent criminals out of jail to make room for drug users we have a priority problem also. No arguments here.
Drug use is harmful
I should have worded what i said as "Drug use is no more harmful than downin' a few shots of Taaka or smoking cigarettes".

My opinion on it is that its a medical problem. Very similar to the problem I have with these Marlboro Lights. I do not advocate it, in fact I strongly advise against it. But not really in favor of kicking a rapist out of jail to make room for someone with this medical problem.
Also, Taaka and Marlboro Lights didn't make me sit in a walk-in closet all day eating cheetos watching Chevy Chase movies and worrying about whether I should answer the knocking on my door whereas marijuana did. So the comparison isn't quite exactly the same.
