Billie, Snow Bunny...........y'all have done yeoman's work putting this together, and Billie, I KNOW how frustrating and difficult this must have been, but God bless ya for it.
In fact, I'll tell you something else. I've had a tradition going for the last couple of years here on FR wherein I have had veterans "check in", if you will. I won't do it this year, for you've more than covered that duty. I'll put the links here, though, out of respect for all those who responded:

Paternal Uncle: US Navy WW-II, Naval gun crew on merchant ships on the Murmansk run, torpedoed and sunk..twice. Lost toes to frostbite due to the cold water
Maternal Uncle: US Navy, sea going tug, Pacific Fleet.

Wifes Maternal Uncles WW-II. 1 Navy destroyer crewman, 1 Army, 1 unknown to me
Wife's great uncle Navy WW-I-Purple Heart, lost vision in one eye.
