No western leader wants to face this reality. Bush and the rest will do ANYTHING to avoid even thinking about it. They will see their view as being humane, peace loving, or whatever, but that view will in the end,cost the lives of millions more because they lack the will displayed by Truman.

Nuke what? All of Afghanastan? What about the fallout? Will that end terrorism? Until we can answer these questions, conventional is the way to go.
