Thank goodness I ordered the self adhesive type of stamps and won't be licking any of them.

I hope they ran a thorough test on the e-mail they sent you.

It's nice to know that the current problems didn't stop them from billing you promptly...

Thank goodness I ordered the self adhesive type of stamps and won't be licking any of them.Licking stamps could be hazardous to your health. I hadn't even considered that. Maybe they should have a warning lable just like cigarettes. You have a better chance of winning the lottery, than getting anthrax. Good luck!

Whether it was the Taliban that started this or some looney American, if the USPS is taken out, our lines of communication will be severely effected. Not only are the computer-generated postage labels in question, but also pre-stamped envelopes and round-dated stamps.
Note: If you are mailing anything over one pound, make sure you present it at a USPS counter for metered postage...this will ensure its swift delivery. Any package over one pound, not presented for face-to-face delivery, sent with regular (self-stick) stamps, is being returned to sender. Always include your return address in the upper left-hand corner of whatever you are mailing.
