Oh, pshaaaawww. We don't HAVE any friends over there. Just alliances of convenience, and those change with the wind. But we have every right to defend ourselves against terror without defending our actions to every Tom, Dick and Mohammed who complains (yet not-so-secretly cheers the terrorists and calls for more of the same). You can't negotiate with those who are irrational, immoral, and ignorant.

How can anyone believe that allah; the Living God; or any other god would want us to go kill people for being "infidels"? Couldn't a god do that much more efficiently on his own?

What planet does this guy come from? How about Iraq attacking Iran, and Iraq attacking Kuwait and Saudi Arabia in the last 20 years. Earlier we have Muslim conquests of Egypt (640 A.D.), conquest of Turkey and fall of Constantinople (1453 A.D.), conquest of Spain and invasion of France, invasions of the Balkans, etc. etc. Muslims have attacked neighboring nations for hundreds of years.

Great...the only way we are going to stop terrorism is to because an imperialist state that pretty much takes over the muslim world. We are losing friends by the millions with these rash actions in the Afghanistan.

We are not losing friends, their actions and words are those of an enemy. Stating that we are taking a rash action is absurd. War is rash and abrupt and tends to bring out the true intent of nations and people.

The fact that Clerics are declaring war exposes the falsehood that Islam is a peaceful religion.

In contrast, I don't remember the Pope or any other significant Christian leaders declaring a war on Muslims because they killed 5000 civilians in the USA.

No action taken by the USA would mean the loss of life of thousands in the Christian community. Just listen to their words "a holy war". They are the culture creating the environment for war in the world. Maybe you are ready to convert to a different lifestyle or religion, or simply die. These people have come to kill you in your own home, are you going to run away and hide?

How foolish.
They are doing more to discredit and defame Islam around the world than our war ever could.
