When the back doors of the van were opened by security personnel, there were 6, 55 gallon drums duct taped to the vans walls along with gas type cans also taped to the walls.

Duct taped? A few 2x4's nailed in place would have been a lot easier.

The extensive reliance upon duct tape indicates a domestic origin for the suspects. If the latch was secured with a screwdriver that would nail it.
