Well, it seems to me that even the so-called innocents over there should know by now if they live close to a potential target. With that knowledge, whose fault is it if they do not get the heck out of there? It's not as if our bombers were seeking out civilian targets.
Oh, I forgot...according to the Taliban (an absolutely impeccable source, of course) we are seeking out civilian targets...(sarcasm off)
I saw a documentary yesterday night, and I heard some eye witnesses say they could hear the sound of a body smacking to the ground nearly every second. God, that's horrible.
I also saw some footage of a man right below the plane's impact, who actually wanted to safe his own life by climbing out of the building to a lower floor..
But he lost his grip.. It horrifies me when I try to imagine what he must have been feeling as he felt himself slipping away...
No one has written in 6 years on this. It’s an atrocity that 20 lives, 5 lives or even 1 live couldn’t be saved from a helicopter going to the North Tower. The South Tower may not have been accessible but there was a corner of the North Tower that was.
Those damn doors should’ve remained unlocked and the damn fire department shouldn’t have had a problem with the police rescuing 28 people from the rooftop in the 93 bombing. Who cares if it was spectacular?
New York needs to grow balls and be prepared to rescue people on the high floors of skyscrapers like Los Angeles- otherwise don’t build skyscrapers.
I would’ve definitely gone to the roof if I was on the upper floors.
