If there were no charges, the buildings would still be standing. - The damage done by the aircraft, while quite ugly, was structurally superficial, and the fires were not hot enough to burn the bodies of many of the passengers and crew.

How many structural fires have you investigated that you were able to determine this? A fire in an enclosed structure will build up sufficient heat to weaken steel. Even without 20,000 gallons of jet fuel a fire can get hot enough to collapse a building. I have seen it happen and I have investigated fires where it has happened.

99% of the fuel burned up outside of the buildings, within the first 20 seconds or so. - What was burning inside was the carpets, upholstery, and paper, and the fire was not particularly hot, but very toxic.

20,000 gallons of jet fuel did not burn up all at once. There is undoubtedly unburned jet fuel still in the remains of the building. The jet fuel got the fire going so quickly that it totally overwhelmed the fire suppression system allowing the fire to burn uncontrolled. It was just a matter of time till the heat build up inside and the structural steel weakened enough for the collapse to begin. Once it started, the weight of the building and gravity took over.

None of the steel actually melted. It didn't need to. It just needed to become a bit less rigid and more elastic. Once that happened to enough of the steel on one floor, it could no longer support the weight of the building above it. That's why the second building to be hit was the first to fall. There was more weight above the fire because the second plane struck the building lower than the first plane. Also, very few of the floors were involved in the fire, so not much of the steel would show signs of heat stress.

Planting explosives would have taken months, would have had to involve many people (some of whom would have talked by now), would be easily detected by an investigation, and would have been totally unnecessary.

"The building reached temperatures of 6000 degrees...""

What an incredibly ignorant statement!

All of the materials known to have existed in the buildings would have either vaporized, or become incandescant thousands of degrees below such an absurd temperature. - Had the temp. risen above 800 degrees, there could not have been any black smoke, as the carbon would have oxidized quickly at that temp. - Post again when you graduate from the 8th grade.

"Planting explosives would have taken months, would have had to involve many people (some of whom would have talked by now), would be easily detected by an investigation,..."

It could have taken months, or years; I don't know, but it was done. - Those who have attempted to 'talk' about OKC, where the same thing was done on a smaller scale (trial run?) have either been killed, prosecuted on false charges, or silenced by the shrill screams from the lap-dog media.

Finally, who would be conducting this alleged 'investigation?' - - "Who will guard the guards?"
