Regarding the photos you posted...

I see pictures of women and children (most are unhurt, BTW) that could have been taken in any middle east country at any time. These people whom you have linked to this post are not the ones we are bombing.

The injuries in the photos are most likely inflicted at another time during one of the many civil wars going on in those countries.

Do you know the time and place of these photos? Can you place a single one of these people inside one of the homes that was bombed? I think we may come to find that some of the homes were targeted because Taliban forces were hiding among the civilians (cowards!).

I keep reading this figure all over the place, and I can't help wondering if it is just that lie that keeps getting repeated until it looks like the truth.

Iraq is in the breadbasket of the world and there should be no excuse for people to starve. Besides which, the sanctions have ALWAYS allowed for the purchase of food, so if people are starving, it is because SADDAM has decided they will. You can't blame other countries for the decisions Saddam makes regarding the people he so ruthlessly rules!

Kids may be killed in war; ask the Germans, the Brits, the French, the Russians, from WWII. It is unfortunate, but if war was a percision business, the greatest capitalists in the world, e.g., the Insurance Industry would indemify against such acts.

It is time to explain to the last three generations of Americans and westerens that people actually get killed, property gets destroyed and WAR is not something that you can perdict! I say kill the entire group to end the violence! War is War and it is a time of killing and destruction. The more destruction and killing you inflect upon the enemy, the quicker their resolve to continue will end.
