Yeah but the drug lords have been building tunnels sneaking both drugs and illegals over. They found a few tunnels one shown on Americas most Wanted yesterday but I guarantee there are many more tunnels between the US and Mexico.

The number of Middle Eastern aliens that are being caught in Cochise County has skyrocketed, but the BP and the INS are deliberately concealing the numbers for fear of a public panic. I worked for 2 years on the AZ/MEX border and stay in touch with many of the BP Agents and Inspectors I worked with, and none has passed any of this up my way in Phoenix. This does not mean it is not happening, but I think I would have heard something by now. INS officers, like anyone else, love to talk and pass info, and if this was happening, someone would have leaked it out to the other officers involved with enforcing the border, not some one in Georgia.

I have been told that the man David Stoddard (Border Patrol veteran) allegedly received the letter in reply #115 and that he passed it to a radio program in Salt Lake City (he has been a guest several times I am told). Stoddard would be known to the local listening audience there.

This story needs to be tracked down. If true something needs to be done. If not true, David Stoddard or the Salt Lake radio program needs to be questioned about why it is not true if it is not true.

I am inclinmed to give the letter some weight for consideration because it is consistent with the WND article of this thread, names Cochise County and because the people at the Salt Lake radio station have been honest with me in the past.

The political class will not even trust former military pilots flying commercial jets to have access to pistols in the cockpits for a last ditch attempt to prevent the next 9-11.

They'd prefer to shoot the entire jetliner down (killing all aboard) with an Air Force F-16 fighter.

Why? The fighter jet is flown by an active duty military pilot who is under the direct control of the National Command Authority chain of command.

But we can be very thankful here in the Northeast that it is absolutely impossible for these Middle Easterners to get to the urban Northeast from Cochise County.</sarcasm Now if something bigger than 9/11 is in the works then we have to consider that the most likely threat is NBC but with a significant number of bodies to do the job they do not necessarily have to bring a weapomn of mass destruction into our nation. I will not bother reitterating a target list that would have very significant secondary effects that could kill many thusands. Suffice to day the list includes indutrial facilities and transdportaion facities.

Six months have passed since the Pentagon, Flt 93 and the WTC. It was almost eleven months from the USS Cole attack until September 11, 2001. I guess we shall see what the opposition can do sometime soon. My biggest worry is that some of security organizations have a whole lot more self confidence than is justified by past performance.
