We should use the National Guard for its intended purpose. Guarding private property is not that purpose. Essentially, whenever troops are placed in harms way, aren't they guarding private property? Think about it.
I thought about it: Trenton? Shiloh? D-Day? Inchon? Not much guarding going on there...
