I have NEVER considered "Toupee" Sam to be intelligent.
To: The Wizard
I disagree. Of all the cabinet members, Tommy seems ill-prepared for the limelight. Sam tagged him too easily. The guy needs to polish his thinking when confronted by the likes of Sam.

I was struck by both Sam and Cokie's outrage that Republicans would dare play politics with the 30,000 new federal workers issue--WHILE NOT SAYING A WORD ABOUT DASCHLE HIJACKING THE NATION'S ENERGY POLICY.

I watched Tommy Thompson with Brit Hume this AM and he did great....sorry, don't make it a point to watch Sam et. al....JUST how was it that Thompson wasn't prepared? How can you be prepared for STUPIDITY?
To: The Wizard
Haven't looked at Sam in a while, but heard the White House correspondent for NPR last week referring to President Bush as "Mr. Bush" over and over again, as if to make the point that he would never call President Bush "president"--quite irritating. And in today's Greenville News I saw the same guttersnipe spirit in the main headline, which reads, "Bush tries to reassure public, says enemies 'paying price'--the implication being that he's trying, fellow, but might not be up to actually succeeding. What nastiness.

I saw this sorry interview by "Hit Man Sam" this morning and was as offended by it as could be. He had a point that he was intent upon making and used Badgering tactics to try to accomplish his goals.
Bordered on Anti-American although I don't really believe Sam is that. Just over exuberant.

Lilse Stahal wins this nights award for lowlife press person of the night
Why do people like Condeleasa Rice have top put up with the likes of this maroon....`
To: The Wizard
these press people better start treating our GOOD elexcted officials properly......Whom do they think they are????
What has any of the news maroons done in life.....
What have they ever been responsible for?????
Get out..Your treatment of Tommy Thompson and Miss Rice was deplorable...
To: The Wizard
Sam Donaldson was trying to trap Tommy Thompson into saying something that would make BIG PRESS. Toupee Sam did not want to get at any information that would help the US population. And then, the stupid smile and crooked laugh saying he was sort of "sorry" for his questions. I nearly turned it off, but I did want to hear what Thompson was saying.
We have a news press that only has ratings as a goal and could care less about this country as long as they get their dose of
Cirpo or Anthrax vaccine.
If you want to hear real news, listen to RUSH! He wants a good country for all of us.
To: The Wizard
Brit Hume and Tony Snow interviewed Secretary Thompson on the Fox show, asked for the same info and reassurances to the public and were gentlemen about it.
Donaldson acted like Thompson was personally responsible for every envelope with or without anthrax mailed in America. He was really obnoxious.

Gee, color me naive, but I see NO PURPOSE SERVED by ever appearing on ABC,CBS, NBC, CNN or CNBC. These stations have proven themselves liberal mouthpieces staffed by socialists and communists intent on bringing about the destruction of the US Constitution and this country.
Bush doesn't have the balls to put out a dictum telling his staff not to appear,.................but I would!! Go FOX News!!
