This is great!!! Now the screaching, hysteric, liberals, who won't come near a home with a gun should stay away from air travel. Oh... if we could only find a way to keep them from leaving their houses too...

I can see the "This Cockpit Protected by Glock" stickers now.

I can hear the liberal shreiks of terror!!!

this is excellent news, now they just need to secure the cockpit doors better and then they can get rid of or greatly reduce the number of sky marshalls, at great cost savings.

I just got to thinkin'...when this thing is over there isn't going to be a "rubber room" left in this country. They are all going to occupied by lefty, commie, liberty hating demoncRATS. They are losing their elitist-socialist minds. The American people are awakening and they don't like what they are seeing.

Can't you just see it...you drive by Roselawn Mental Hospital and there's a "NO VACANCY" sign out front. You walk around the grounds and see Hillery and Teddy in straight jackets, her blubbering about "the children", and him begging , "Just a beer!....Just a beer...Hell, a beer's not drinking". Then there will be the bearded lil' Albert walking around in a trance like, drugged up state mumbling, over and over again, "but what about Dingle/Norwood?"

We'll sharpen our teeth on these cowardly terrorist bastards and after that's over we'll start, peacefully, at the ballot box, taking out the terrorists within. Beware commies in the gov.......you're next! I think they are beginning to see it. Prison for the above mentioned traitors is also a viable option. That's a good picture too.

Maybe this was prompted by the threats of more terrorism this weekend.

There shouldn't have had to be a vote in the first place. The Senators that voted yes were just doing their job. The Senators that voted "no" need to be identified. I mean, how else is a person and the people to know who they are really voting for. To think that all the Senators let that mini-miscarriage of justice against the people speaks for how and why the Senate let a gross-miscarriage of justice against the people occur when all Senators broke their oath of office by not abiding by the Constitution -- they let Clinton remain as President.

The ends can never justify the means.

If this really happened it is a little redundant. My understanding is that the FAA always allowed pilots to be armed. It was the airlines that banned it. Nothing has changed.

Hot darn. Did they get a lot of letters from the public about this? I suppose there's hope that the house will do as well as the Democrap controlled senate.

Something tells me that even the lilly-livered libs are having to admit that they too will feel safer this way.

Please E-mail Speaker Hastert at dhastert@mail.house.gov with your support. I suggest copying Rush, maybe get further exposure. My message is below:

Dear Speaker Hastert: Please allow the House to vote on the armed pilots amendment in connection with the Aviation Security Bill. If you have to add language to indemnify the airlines and pilots against liability for death or injury to what appear to be violent hijackers, in order to placate the airline lobby, please do so.
