There are a great many auto immune disorders - rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gall stones and kidney stones and eczema to name a very few.
One summer I drank quite a lot of Snapple cranberry iced tea and developed horrible kidney stones. I haven't had a drop of cranberry iced tea or cranberry juice since then - it's not an experience I want to repeat.

I really hope for the best for Rush.

Out of nowhere, about ten years ago I started being bothered occasionally by eczema. During one episode about 6 years ago, I got pneumonia. Practically overnight the eczema disappeared. The doctor told me that my body 'knew' it had to fight the pneumonia and left 'me' alone. Do you think that there could be some kind of lesson in this? I know. It's like hitting your thumb with a hammer to forget that you have a migraine headache, but what's more important?

I think any doctor or nurse will tell you that if you have a history of kidney stones Cranberry juice is needed. It is a natural combatant of kidney stones and helps disolve them. In other words by drinking the juice you likely dislodged existing stones. A lot of spinal rehab facilities and Urologist highly recommend cranberry juice over any other. But I would avoid aspertine though..
