The last to go from Senator to Pres was JFK. I expect someone to rist from the governor seats, epsecially from the South, and to a lesser extendt, the midwest.
However, Any Southern Democrat is a treat.
I hope you're right. Preventive measures are called for, just in case. The Dems. are putting their money on him, that's obvious from his multiple Senate committee appointments, media support, his numerous fundraisers and campaigning efforts around the nation and even to Israel recently. He keeps claiming that he's a moderate, though his record proves the lie, and the public seems to be buying the act.
