It’s because of all the garbage they invented to try to take out Paxton. If you listen to anyone on the left they won’t stop talking about all the corruption they’ve attempted to tack on to Paxton. He’s been cleared of everything but People on the left and in the middle are like gullible 5 yr olds when they WANT to believe something. Other than that, the freaking weirdo Telarico wouldn’t stand a chance in hell.
I think the issue will be with folks who don’t like Telarico but feel that Paxton is an adulterer and thus they have no one they feel they can vote for and thus will sit out the vote or not vote for any senate candidate. That would be to telarico’s advantage and I think that is what Telarico’s strategy is. Telarico has all the earmarks of antichrist...not “The one that is coming” but of the spirit of antichrist. Telarico exhibits a scoffing blasphemous spirit...there is no getting around it. Paxton is a flawed person, but I would vote for him anyway.
Latest polls on Kalshi and Polymarket shows Paxton up by 13 and 14 points respectively. Paxton just needs to avoid dead girls and live boys to wrap this up. Corny Cornyn is still butthurt though.

Because acting like you’re going to win comfortably is a great way to lose. Ask Ted Cruz how that works. He thought he was going to comfortably cruise to relection last time but he had to get Trump to come down and bail him out because he discovered that he was going to lose badly.
There are no safe seats any more.
You must campaign like you are fifteen points down at all times.
You cannot take anything for granted.
And, especially in this case, you must win *convincingly* because if the Dem gets even vaguely close, the margin of cheating will get them over the line.
