Iran has attacked three cargo ships in the Strait of Hormuz, Iranian reports say, after Donald Trump said he was extending the US-Iran ceasefire
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) says it has seized two of the three ships, and is escorting them to the Iranian coast - here's a round-up of the attacks
Trump said last night he was extending the ceasefire, while also maintaining the US blockade of Iranian ports, which is designed to put pressure on Iran before talks with the US in Pakistan
But the status of those talks is unclear - US Vice-President JD Vance did not depart for Pakistan as expected on Tuesday
An adviser to Iran's parliamentary speaker says the ceasefire extension "means nothing", calling it "a ploy to buy time for a surprise strike"

Meanwhile, Israel says on Wednesday it has intercepted a hostile aircraft launched by Hezbollah towards Israeli military forces operating in southern Lebanon.
IRGC claims two ships transferred to Iran waters for 'inspection'
the IRGC Navy says that two ships, MSC Francesca and Epaminondas, have been transferred to the territorial waters of Iran for “inspection of their cargo, documents, and records”.
It says that the ships were "operating without authorisation" and committed "repeated violations", accusing them of trying to leave the Strait of Hormuz "in secret" and tampering with navigation systems.

Iran still playing to the Tucker, Megyn and MSM fans, hoping to keep stirring up problems for Trump so Trump will give up.
Hope (for Iran) still lies in Tucker, Megyn et al and the Main Stream Media keeping the base riled up.
Always be skeptical of anything iran says.
Also if you read the in forum posts of the person that posted this, you’ll find it is no friend to President Trump.
BBC right on top of things, as always. Why do I doubt this story? The 3 Iranian strikes are confirmed, however, by other sources.
I was thinking more like “The BBC says, that Iran says, which means it is a made up story at the least.
Who didn’t see this coming? Well, Trump maybe.
