Your definition of “high” is different from mine when it comes to property taxes.

An increase of $1,700.00? My entire property tax on our ~2000 sq ft house and 15 acres of land is not much more than that.

I suppose it’s all relative, but just for information I pay $250 A YEAR. So, yeah, seems a little high to me.
