I will always wager blue states as complicit in every kind of fraud. I am not wrong. I’ll win that bet without trying.
Withhold all benefits until this mess is straightened up.
I reckon we’ll be hearing what federal judges have to say about that soon.
Where is a list of the states to be cut?
Excellent. Women don’t need no man, they don’t get his money either.
DO IT! DO IT!
Too many cooks in the kitchen. Bad enough that the money gets filtered by the fed monster and then it goes to the even more corrupt and dysfunctional states.
Of course a Dem appointed Fed judge will issue an injunction to keep the fraud going.
The program has already been funded. They can’t stop the funds.
We need to stop referring to taxpayer’s money as “federal funds”.
Some how I’m really not surprised dead people are getting Food Stamps.
I was born and raised in Hudson County, NJ., a solid Democrat stronghold where every election cycle dead people voted.
They voted early. And often.
This!
I wish they posted the range of benefits instead of the average. I know some people get $20 a month, but I don’t know the high number. I see SNAP balances every day, $1200, $3600, higher, no way that is happening at $177/month. Meanwhile the elderly tend to have 0 balance.
Imagine what their voters rolls look like...
So, this is getting at the heart of the SNAP entitlement funding.
The problem seems to not be providing to the SNAP entitled but rather culling out those who are not entitled. Solving the problem creates the political risk that sustains the Democrat party
Per the above, they can and will...
‘...”As of next week, we have begun and will begin to stop moving federal funds into those states and until they comply and allow us to partner with them and protect the American taxpayer,” she said...’
The she is Sec. Brooke Rollins.
The only question I have is are we talking withholding just the funding for Fedzilla’s share of a state’s administrative costs, or a state’s entire SNAP funding.
I’m not finding any clarity on that yet.
It’s not just the people getting the SNAP money.
The SNAP programs fund more bureaucracy.
Why are federal taxpayers paying a share of every state’s administrative costs?!
The federal program needs to be ended.
This should devolve to the states.
