'No US Citizens': Meet the IT Firms Discriminating Against Americans
Washington Free Beacon ^ | 5/12/25 | Eliana Johnson

Posted on 12/05/2025 5:42:57 AM PST by Eleutheria5

A growing number of IT staffing firms are posting help wanted ads that say the quiet part out loud: Americans need not apply. Federal law prohibits this—duh—but in an industry reliant on an H-1B program that provides visas to more than 700,000 immigrants, the Free Beacon’s Aaron Sibarium “identified over two dozen job postings since 2024 that appear to bar applications from U.S. citizens” in favor of visa holders. Many of the companies behind them tout their commitment to DEI.

Take LanceSoft, an IT staffing firm committed to “diversity, equality, and inclusivity.” In a post to an IT jobs aggregator site advertising a $60-per-hour role, the company said it strives “to be as diverse as the clients and employees we partner with” and embraces “people of any race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender identity, and sexual orientation.” But candidates “must hold an active H1B visa.”

“The posts illustrate what Trump administration officials say is a common form of hiring discrimination that has long been underpoliced,” writes Sibarium. “They come as conservatives are debating the merits of the H-1B visa program, which some argue has been abused by employers to hire foreign workers—especially Indian outsourcers—at the expense of American ones.”

Might have something to do with the horrible state of American higher education, but I think not.

It’s 100% about the tax breaks and cheap labor these companies receive from the hb1 visas.

Even Harvard is being accused of widespread Grade Inflation.
Meaning, students now graduating with “A” averages usually don’t deserve it, and found some way to DEI themselves up to an artificial (fake) level of achievement. When a potential employer cannot trust the judgement from one of our most famous schools, it is a shock and a warning.

This attitude of taking precautions is only a half step away from justifying a racial or cultural prejudice against most Americans who are not of Indian background.

Overseas education is just as bad. They think the ability to do “maths” is the only important thing. Many of their resumes are fabrications laden with hot keywords.

In a section titled "Visa requirement," LanceSoft recruiter Riyaz Ansari wrote that "candidates must hold an active H1B visa"—and stated explicitly that American citizens need not apply.

"No USC/GC for this role," Ansari wrote, using the acronyms for U.S. citizens and green card holders. He added that "LanceSoft is a certified Minority Business Enterprise"—a status the firm has used to secure public contracts—and touted the company's "diversified team environment."

LanceSoft should be banned from all public contracts.

Indians are in COMPLETE control of tech hiring in the USA. The discrimination against white American males is close to 100%.

You’re 100% correct.

Nowadays, most H1B’s have only a worthless degree from an offshore unranked diploma mill.

This article hits home for me. I was in IT for over 45 years, back when mainframes were the size of pickup trucks. For most of my career, I was an independent consultant. As time went on, there were more and more Indians, Chinese, Russians, Pakistanis and other green card holders getting positions for much less than an American. Some could barely speak English, and many had accents so heavy I could not understand them. Prior to 2000, I was making $95.00 per hour. in 2015 when I retired, my rate was down to $65.00 per hour. I had to accept lower rates or be out of work. My last gig there were as many consultants as there were employees, and 70% were from foreign countries. Even many agencies were controlled by foreigners and if you were a citizen, they would give you an interview, but don’t think you’ll be hired anytime soon. I don’t know if I would advise a young American to get into the field today, you can make more money as a plumber, and electrician, a welder, or a mechanic, and start your own business.

LanceSoft CEO name is Anju Abel, surprise…. Located in Herndon, VA. Trump Admin should allow H1B visas in US Passports if it’s not implicitly allowed already and maintain the limit of visas issued. Is there a rule against US citizens from getting one? That would mess up the head-bobbers and traitorous hiring companies plans.

Correct you are. Most agencies are run by rag heads and they will only hire other rag heads. They will bill them out at $100.00 an hour and pay them maybe $25.00. They exploit their own. The newbies think they are highly paid compared to what they would have gotten in their own country, they have no idea what the billing rate is to the company.

But but but Americans applying for those positions are experts on which pronoun to use when addressing people and on how many genders there are thanks to our el/hi and universities education programs.

If I hear a thick foreign accent I ask for an agent who speaks my language, English

That way I don’t have to guess what the person is trying to say

I usually get an American instead

I’ve been boldly doing so for several years

Why would we need a visa for our own country in our American passport ?

I'm gonna apply, and when I get turned down, I'm gonna sue the shit out of them.

“artificial (fake) level of achievement” (DEI)

Yes. But the real issue is they do not have our cultural values. The foreign workers, don’t ask questions. They don’t try to understand what the affect of what they are doing to the typical US citizens. The model foreign worker is obedience to the Corporate Model.

This is a product of Big Government Bureaucrap, Big Government, Big Labor, Big Financial Institution, Big Insurance monsters, Big Cold creeping national death.

It won’t help. Most of the companies they serve want the Indian IT people. They won’t state it openly, but when it comes to hiring, they find their ways. It pretty easy just by sorting by name. It’s not hard to discern an Indian name from an Anglo name unless your Nicki Haley. So, when you look at resumes you just quickly eliminate anyone who doesn’t sound Indian. Then you pick from whose left.

I’ve seen it second hand with a friend. She was hired because of a government tax abatement deal with her company. Then they sh*t on her for five years hoping she’d leave like most of the other white, female hires did. She needed the job, so she took the abuse and hung in there. But what was really grating was that once an Indian got into a management position at the company they not only hired and promoted Indians, but Indians from their part of India. They are a very clannish, parochial group.
They are also lazy. She told me story after story of people not showing up, not doing their job, demanding time off. One woman hired in, was promoted over her in a month, then was given 2 months with pay to go back to India and get married. Guess who did her work while she was gone.

They finally got rid of my friend. When her project was over at the end of 5 years. They only offered her new jobs that required a lot of travel or relocation. As a single mom with two special needs kids and aging parents she could do neither. She tried for almost a year to get another job in IT, but never even got call backs when she submitted resumes. She’s totally out of IT now. Her college degree in software development is pretty useless.

Go to any high school or college commencement, and look at the names of the honor students.
