End the free stuff and they will self-deport.
How about from all countries. Wealthy countries produce terrorists too.
Em…aside from the propaganda tone of this article, how are we not a poor country with a $38 Trillion deficit, California gone, New York a sh$thole and the average person looking like dog meat in sweats?
Regulation of immigration is up to Congress.
It’s in the Constitution.
It should be cultures that do not assimilate.
Reverse migration
Reverse migration refers to the phenomenon where migrants return to their place of origin after living abroad or in another region, significantly impacting social and economic dynamics.
Definition and Context
Reverse migration, also known as return migration, is the process where individuals who have migrated to another location return to their original home. This trend has gained significant attention, particularly in India, due to large-scale returns prompted by events such as the COVID-19 pandemic. Many skilled professionals, entrepreneurs, and workers are choosing to return home, reshaping the social and economic landscape of their home countries.
Causes of Reverse Migration
Economic Factors: Economic downturns or lack of job opportunities in host countries often prompt migrants to return home. The COVID-19 pandemic led to widespread job losses, pushing many to seek stability in their home regions.
Social Factors: Family ties, cultural connections, and the desire to retire in one’s home country can motivate individuals to return. Emotional reasons, such as the need to be closer to family, play a significant role in this decision.
Political Factors: Changes in immigration policies or political instability in host countries can also lead to reverse migration. For instance, tightening visa regulations and anti-immigrant sentiments can provoke migrants to return to their home countries.
Impacts of Reverse Migration
Economic Impact: Reverse migration can lead to labor shortages in host regions while creating an oversupply of labor in home regions, potentially driving down wages. However, it can also enhance the local economy by bringing back skilled labor and entrepreneurial spirit, contributing to job creation and innovation.
Social Dynamics: The return of migrants can lead to changes in local demographics and social structures. It can foster knowledge sharing and business cooperation between returnees and those who remained, enhancing the overall community’s capabilities.
Rural Development: In India, reverse migration has led to increased employment opportunities in rural areas, as returnees often engage in labor-intensive industries and entrepreneurship, contributing to rural reconstruction.
Conclusion
Reverse migration is a complex phenomenon influenced by various economic, social, and political factors. It has significant implications for both the migrants and their home countries, reshaping identities, economies, and social structures. As more individuals choose to return, understanding this trend becomes crucial for policymakers and communities alike.

It severely restricted immigration and completely closed off immigration from Asia.
I stand by my tagline to this very day!
Trump is exactly correct. Mobilize the National Guard and the military and get it done.
I agree. And I’d add...no more asylum seekers of any sort.
Yup.
They aren’t coming here like the pilgrims or most others pre WWII.
Post WWII, with our economic wealth, and the modern American social state (starting in the 60s), with its massive offer of “free stuff,” you started getting the economic immigrants and moochers.
Ilhan Abdullahi Omar should be the first to go back to her beloved country.
“...and is promising to seek to expel millions of immigrants from the United States by revoking their legal status.”
Unless they are dependent on U.S. government or state aid absent of any violation of their agreement I can see no cause for this.
Good point. Though these days pointing out legit exercise of the separation of powers will get you flak.

Well…we can see where this had led us
The biggest danger to the USA will come when the European kick out moslems in mass and many of them crept to come to the USA.
Wealthy countries gave us most of the entrepreneurs and scientists that made America a super power.
I don’t know a single immigrant from Somalia who’s made any great scientific discoveries.
Total agreement.
Considering the immigrant horde that is overrunning Europe - Afghans are viewed the worse, followed by Somalis, a close third are Sub-Saharan Africans with Syrians being fourth, then other 3rd world riffraff.
