So I can throw sandwiches at people, even law enforcement, and that’s not a crime?

I’ll bet if you threw a sandwich at stooge Carl Nichols, the result would be quite different...

12 commies on a jury, they would easily acquit Tyler Robinson if they had the chance
To: GingisK
Apparently, he wasn’t prosecuted for resisting arrest. When an officer tells you to stop but you run like hell in the opposite direction until tracked down, that is resisting arrest. Wonder why they didn’t charge him on that.

Throw me one while you are throwing. A bacon, lettuce. tomato on toast with mayonnaise would be nice.

It wasn’t exactly an ‘assault sandwich’ or a ‘sandwich of mass destruction’.
Or does someone out there want to call it “Hoagie Terrorism”?
Maybe “Narco Hoagie Terrorism” if the perp was under the influence of something?

Wonder why they didn’t charge him on that. Same here. I think they made a stupid attempt at elevating it to a felony.

How about if he threw a brick?

So I can throw sandwiches at people, even law enforcement, and that’s not a crime? The real test is to throw a sammich at, say, a newly elected mayor. A messy one. Egg salad with too much mayo for instance.

Meanwhile, he is now widely known to be an overly emotional idiot, given to tantrums and minor assault.
To: 11th_VA
Someone took this misdemeanor to trial? Why? What purpose did that serve besides wasting taxpayer dollars.

DC Swamp. It is impossible to obtain a fair trial there.

Well, yes and no. Do it to ICE agents in DC and yes, it isn’t a crime to a DC jury. Try doing it most parts of rural America and see how that works out.

Throwing a sandwich does not show intent to harm. A sandwich is NOT a weapon.
If they a tried "resisting arrest" or similar charge they could have gained a misdemeanor conviction. I suspect they made a stupid attempt to elevate the seriousness of the situation.
