And presumably, taking the time to really aim, breathe, etc.. even a long bbl, pistol with a decent scope...

I agree, if it really was 200 yards it was certainly a rifle. But the kid said he turned right around and there he was with the cops. He was waring light summer clothes. No way he could have carried a rifle right into the crowd. You don’t take a 200 yard shut then run as fast as you can to the scene. But the witness could have been wrong.
