Such bombastic language ... “DOOMED”. He’s not doomed; he doesn’t GAS. It’s additional cred for his brand.

Bush was an incompetent POS.

Bush the Elder was a world class sneak, head of the CIA and all, obviously involved in the JFK assassination, and the chief beneficiary of Watergate. He had an agenda which he hid well, and partnered with the Clintons to get his son elected POTUS.

All of you who purport to hate Trump should divest yourselves and leave this country. Trump has done more for the average American in 6 months than ALL of the self-serving DEMONRATS. That goes for the RINOS too.

I certainly don't hate Trump. I donated generously to his campaigns. I certainly dislike Schiff, and I appreciate that Trump is trolling him and causing him political embarrassment. My point is that if the legal definition of "primary residence" is the place in which he spends the most time, his house in MD is likely that, regardless of where he votes. What Trump is doing is good political fun, even if Schiff may be legally correct.

Let him walk, with a felony conviction.

See how he likes it.

Exactly. Tish James is still running around with no repercussions from her mortgage fraud.

They’ve known about this for a while now. It’s not like they had no clue. They’ve been sitting on it for political reasons.

Is it being claimed that his loans on his CA property also claimed primary residence? That would be a slam dunk case, IMO. Otherwise, if the loan(s) on his CA properties during that time were for 2nd home, mortgage fraud would be a stretch since that would indicate intent to occupy the MD home as primary. Not sure residency in one’s state/district has the same definition, and CA homeowners exemption would use a state definition and be a state issue instead of Fed. As much as I despise this guy and would like to see him out of politics, I’m just not seeing it. Does the accusation hinge on using the same definition of primary residence between state and federal and/or between lending and eligibility for office? Could steer a cruise ship through those holes.

Well, I’d propose that he didn’t buy both at the same time and must disclose all his assets which would include his property in California. As such, he must disclose his California home as his primary residence. If not then he’d have to reclassify prior to being granted a primary residence home in Maryland. However, it sounds like he’s done this across 5 properties so ya he’s committed fraud.

He claimed his California condo as his primary residence to get favorable rates at the same time he was claiming his Maryland residence his primary. So it’s not about where he lives, it about the double claim. He can only have one primary residence.
