A legitimate question.

The snarky tone, not so legitimate.

There is a distinction between lost support and weakened the support. The latter are people who still support Trump, but not so enthusiastically.

It's early to say if Trump has lost support. But from widespread comments, his support is clearly weakened among his base. Many supporters have expressed disappointment.

Whether some of that weakened support will later be lost, time will tell.
