I kind of thought I did too, lol

I thought the doctor should ask me to write something up, give advice somehow his other patients should follow his restrictions. It’s not easy to do!

This isn't me today! I'm wearing regular clothes again. And we might even go to Lowe's to look for carpet for the basement! My first non-medical outing.

the basement looks good, looks smaller of course, because now there are walls everywhere. It'll have a tiny apartment sized kitchen with an area for a table, it'll have the big freezer and the refrigerator that are already down there, a big media room, and the bathroom has been expanded so we can add a shower if we want in the future. Right now it's just a little storage area.

we have somehow ruined it for the cats. They used to spend hours and hours down there. Now they hate it. They don't stay down more than 20 minutes, if they even go down there at all. They used to play in the rafters which worried me

Lol that’s me! Sometimes I’m in my meemaw clothes all day!

Basement sounds great!

Enjoy your non-medical outing! Very happy that you’re feeling so much better.

The Christmas Village Massacre Caption: It was a peaceful ceramic village... until Godzilla arrived. The Ginger is currently stomping through the town square, Shadow is playing hockey with the ice skater figurine, and the Tuxedo is eating the fake snow. The property value in this village has plummeted. 🏘️🦕

I was just down there, it’s a bit chilly. That’s why we’re doing carpet instead of tile. I was told to minimize my stair usage but I have to get down there, there’s no other way. You know in a weird way I thank God looked out for me because I was stuck in bed and definitely not exceeding any restrictions. Now that I feel good I find myself doing things without thinking, one more week to behave myself! I’m actually glad I didn’t have to do this the whole time. The main reason the surgery fails is exceeding the restrictions.

I can’t wait to bend, to pick up cat and dog bowls. Pet them, run up and down stairs. It’s the little things in life!

It is the little things, isn’t it?

Just take it easy on those stairs - one fall could do untold damage. I assume you don’t have any railings up yet.....be careful.

I hurt my arm going into Natalie’s a week ago. Was very scared going up her two front steps. She has no railing and I leaned very hard on my cane because the stairs are wood, as in deck material, and they were wet. I find that slippery. My arm position was too high to lean that hard on my cane and I heard it crackle (my arm, not the cane) and man oh man. It hurt like crazy and has been very sore ever since.

Now it hurts to knit, but I have to keep going because I have orders in. So I went on Amazon to see if they had a small cushion for arm support, and lo and behold.....they have a cushion for knitters (and gamers lol) that supports your arm and corrects your posture! So now I’ve got my special aids cushion for knitting coming my way, along with my reacher/grapper! I’m in handicap heaven up here lol.

Greetings from the frozen tundra. It was 14 degrees for a high today. Got 5” of snow Saturday night. Tonight 4 above zero.
In good news...The Packers are currently leading Da Bears 22-14 in the 4th quarter.
😅

Wow, who knew they had such a thing? Hope your knitting arm gets back in business. Speaking of your business, sounds like it is going great! You can up your prices- someday you’ll make minimum wage!

Lol that’s the thing I notice about Amazon.....if ever you’re sitting thinking, “Geez, someone should invent something that helps this....” Just click what you would say it helped and BAM. Someone has invented it. That’s how I discovered my wool feeders as well. I think of these things, I just don’t get around to inventing any lol. I guess I’m a lazy genius lol.

What is a wool feeder?

Just think of all the Patents you could have!

Had a little setback going to Lowe’s yesterday. I thought I was all better, after 2 days of no pain. Yes I should have given it a little longer. Still feel okay I just need to rest. My allergy appointment got canceled, God intervening again! I’ll go on wednesday.
