I saw that horribly sad news on Sunday when Tommy’s sister posted it on FB. I so wanted it to be a bad dream. He was also a FB friend and I know he dearly loved his kiddos and they love him. I’m keeping the whole family close in prayer.
May he rest in Heavenly peace and may his memory be a blessing to his loved ones. I hadn’t seen him in several years, but I knew him “back in the day” and he truly was a good and loving person and a wonderful dad.
Thanks for posting this. My heart aches for that family. 💔💔💔💔💔

What’s amazing is how many times I think of her advice, even today. My copies of her books are long gone, but my interest in vitamins and minerals remains!

I remember also reading two books which proved very worthwhile to me.
Now, let’s see if I can remember the names of them.....
One was Take Charge of Your Health by Gladys Lindberg. She told everyone to ignore the cholesterol nonsense, and eat eggs. Said cholesterol is natural, levels vary, and eggs are good for you. She told of how the “eggs are bad” scare came from some Russian testing and how it was flawed because they fed lots of eggs to rabbits, but rabbits don’t eat eggs.
The other is Dr. Robert Mendelsohn. “How to Raise a Healthy Child In Spite of your Doctor.” He was the one who warned about vaccinating children, a long long time ago. Thanks to him, my thinking and suspicions about sticking a needle full of goodness knows what into my kids was confirmed and I didn’t vaccinate my kids. Thankfully I had a doctor who thought that was sensible.

I’m waiting for this repairman again this morning..this is his 4th trip and still no heat. I’m sick and tiny and afraid and a target for everyone. I’ve written him 3 checks..this is a 30 year company. Now he’s accusing me of breaking it

You had to throw what out? The furnace is garbage? What are the temperatures where you are? I hope it’s not like it is here.....well below freezing. You’d never survive without a furnace.
