I don’t think any of us will ever forget that fateful day one year ago.
It is up there in my book with the assassinations of JFK, RFK, and MLK.
I will never forget where I was or what I was doing when these horrendous events happened.
I’m so thankful that the good Lord intervened to save this great man.
I plan on reading our Butler Thread before the day is done but I haven’t been able to get up the courage to do so yet.

I’d take the arrest of one of these: Comey, Brennan, Clapper, Susan Rice or Nasty.

I see they are having to curtail the recovery mission in Kerrville due to flood warnings in the area.
I’ve been praying it would stay away from the areas along the Guadalupe.
There was another ominous, bubbling cloud cover over the Brady/Mason area, earlier this morning.
That area is usually very dry ... it’s already received probably two years worth of rain, in the past couple of weeks. It was raining there, AGAIN, earlier this morning.
Streams and creeks that feed into the Guadalupe are up in that area...which is just North of Kerrville.
We need a break from the Kerrville area rains, for sure, for a while. Everything needs to dry up to NON-flash flooding level.
