If they weren’t here illegally, it wouldn’t be a problem.

There are these things called *consequences* for breaking the law.

Welcome to reality.

“The sweep near 120th Street and Hawthorne Boulevard “

RIP, Brian Wilson. His old stomping grounds.

“Well, she got her daddy’s car
And she cruised through the hamburger stand, now
Seems she forgot all about the library
Like she told her old man, now.”

The hamburger stand is 300 feet north of that intersection. The Foster Freeze (closed within the last year or two) at 11969 Hawthorne Boulevard. I used to drive past it but never went there. I did go to the one further north on the same road, which changes its name to La Brea in Inglewood.

The intersection is about half a mile north of the Hawthorne Public Library, which is on Grevillea, a block west of Hawthorne Boulevard. I went there once.

You interfere with law enforcement and bad things will happen to you. And maybe she is, maybe not.

There used to be a giant mall near there called Old Towne if memory serves.

You’re allowed to do crime while pregnant. And if you give the stolen goods to your children, they just get to keep them.

That concept has been so grossly abused for so long that I have only disgust for those who invoke it.

You can’t arrest a woman if she’s pregnant. It’s in the Constitution. I seen it on the YouTube.

I really beg and wish Trump’s Justice Department charges Home Depot with facilitating criminal action.

If you didn’t care, you wouldn’t respond.

Right across the street from the Foster Freeze was the Hawthorne Mall. It was an OK-ish mall until it wasn’t. When I first moved to California from the east coast in 1983 we used to go to restaurant called “Baja Reef” to watch Monday Night Football. I had a hard time at first dealing with Monday Night Football at 6:00 p.m. That mall has been empty for years.

Old Towne was on Hawthorne Blvd. if I remember correctly, but several miles south, in Torrance. It was big, but kind of crappy - made to look fake-old fashioned. I was in it a few times, maybe to go to movies, if it even had a movie theater. By the early 1980s it was eclipsed by the almost immediately adjacent Del Amo Fashion Square mall, which was claimed to be the largest mall in the world at the time. This was before the “Mall of America” was built in Minnesota.
