I’m sure it doesn’t have to do anything with that many federal workers lorded over their relatives their job security while the relatives were facing unemployment over covid.
I’m sure it doesn’t have anything to do with that at all.

The poor darlings are suffering with the rest of us instead of living off of us and lording it over us. Schadenfreude.

Tobin’s job loss sent him scurrying to fill prescriptions before he lost his health insuranceAt 24 years old? I guess we aren't a healthy nation.

So the AP is now discovering that unemployment sucks. And some people ‘celebrate it”??? You mean like when the AP celebrated all those miners who lost their jobs when Biden shut down the coal industry??

Hey AP, welcome to Schadenfreude, the same pleasure you have wallowed in every time a conservative takes a beating somewhere.

Milton Friedman’s negative tax. Give money to those below the poverty income provided they work full time. Sounds fair.
Read it here yesterday.

Getting laid off sucks, especially when you have other mouths to feed. I can empathize, having experienced it early in my career. For some reason the MSM never came around to interview me, and make my ex-employer look bad. Hmmm.

I lost every shred of sympathy for these government workers when they kept their jobs through the COVID fiasco while private companies were forced to shut down and lay off their own workers — on the orders of government hacks who never missed a paycheck.

I got laid off once, and not for snything of my doing either.....know what I did?
I sacked up, went out and found another damned job.
I suggest these people do the same.
And BTW.....why didn’t they accept the early buyout?

“My life is disintegrating because I can’t work in my chosen field,” says JennOh, please! Suck it up, buttercup. There are many millions of people who can't work in their "chosen field", for all sorts of reasons, and people who lost their jobs with no notice, and millions who live with the possibility of being out of a job every single day of their lives.
