Many companies have fired Gen Z workers just months after hiring them and several business owners said they are hesitant to bring on recent college graduates due to concerns about their work ethic, communication skills and readiness to do the job, according to a new survey.

Six in 10 employers said they have already let go recent college graduates this year, while one in seven said they are inclined to refrain from hiring new graduates next year, according to a survey conducted by Intelligent.com.

Close to 1,000 business leaders participated in the Intelligent.com survey, the results of which were first reported by Newsweek. Some employers said they are deterred from hiring Gen Z to work at their companies due to lack of communication skills and poor professionalism, according to a survey. Some employers said they are deterred from hiring Gen Z to work at their companies due to lack of communication skills and poor professionalism, according to a survey. “Many recent college graduates may struggle with entering the workforce for the first time as it can be a huge contrast from what they are used to throughout their education journey,” Intelligent’s chief education and career development adviser Huy Nguyen said in the report.

Today’s colleges are political organizations, they’re not in the business of educating these poor saps.
They only want Daddy’s money to further their democrat agenda. It’s been this way for a decade, or more.
These are over-schooled, undereducated morons. No one in their right mind would hire them.

I'm a hiring manager in my workplace and it's hard to find young talent these days. I incline towards older workers more of my generation as even though they are close to retirement, they put in a full day's work and don't call in sick.

The amount of absenteeism among my younger workers is staggering. They use every little excuse to not come to work on a given day. Even worse, they sometimes have their mothers calling in sick for them. This would have been unheard of when I was coming into the workforce. Even if my wife called in sick for me, I would have resigned out of embarrassment.

Starbucks is always hiring.

Lots and lots of kids these days couldn't even make a go of it at Starbucks.

That was my recent experience with summer interns. The ones who got offers were no doubters who were immediately productive, the rest were clear no’s. I don’t think we were on the fence for anybody.

” Even if my wife called in sick for me, I would have resigned out of embarrassment.”

Two years ago, I was semi-comatose in ICU and somehow, I managed to call in sick. It was like I was on autopilot.

“I have met several of these kids who really have it together, they probably were home schooled.”

Or had jobs during high school and college where they had to interact with other people (excluding self-proclained “influencers” and “Only Fans”).

I work with a kid who’s Gen Z, and he’s as useless as tits on a boar hog.

Wants to take the easy way, always crying about having the AC on, and always on one of his three phones.

Most STEM fields cannot be faked. Then again, AA woke crap is infecting STEM now too. Woe unto us when AA promoted structural engineers outnumber qualified MEs. I saw it first hand where an entire division of “R
&D was created just to keep the AA incompetent, but diverse, crowd were kept off the manufacturing and engineering line. But of course all the pamphlets showed the happy excited brown faces pointing at things.

Being self-employed, there were several days where i was dead and still worked.

Wish that I'd had some help to understand college before I went, and how things worked after I got there. Still no degree after four years. Got married and dropped out Was a bread peddler for a couple, taught myself the whole text of analytic geometry and calculus, went to a local engineering colege, was tested, and sailed through the the Bachelor's degree always on the Dean's List. Published my Bachelor's thesis in the society's Journal.

Had to learn the hard way. But got 'er done. Probably not possible today. that was 60+ years ago.

Does Intelligent.com work for kids today?

Lack of communication skills and poor professionalism.

It’s expected college graduates were not educated for the business world but more for socialism and Marxism way of doing business.

The smart ones understood what was needed for success in the business world.
