The video comes to my attention via the Twitter Account of Tony Seruga. The video appears to capture Thomas Crooks walking through the vendor section of the Butler rally at approximately 4:26pm, about one and a half hours before he began shooting.
If the 4:26pm time is accurate, this is interesting because President Trump was initially scheduled to begin speaking at 5:00pm.

Any mother’s child knows that these VIP speakers are never “on time” by intention—to throw off and detect the early bird snipers.
He looks in pretty good shape for a geek. Wonder what kind of training he had?
All geeks are different.
He looks like he might have done a lot of biking. Many geeks are into trail biking.

If you blow up a screenshot of the guy he’s following - who online discussion pegs as ‘a fed’ - on his left hip something is both riding above his waistband (visible shirt bulge) and extending 3/4 down his thigh inside of his pants (visible pants bulge).
Any competent security staff - not to mention LEO or USSS - would flag this individual IMMEDIATELY...assuming that he wasn’t USSS (or other fed) himself.
‘About 4:26 PM” is when he was walking in the vendor area.

In that clip, he sure doesn’t look like the scrawny, nerdy kid in the other photos. He looks like a typical 20-year-old man.
It wasn’t Crooks on the roof and he had an appointment elsewhere.

IF he’s a geek, what happened to his social media and links to others on his cellphone?

there’s one where his arm is extended. i remember it seemed too thick for the guy usually shown in photos, though that may have been because those photos were when he was much younger.

at 7m10s, Martenson shows pics from the video we’re discussing, and says that was, apparently, earlier in the day.

Martenson also states 5.48pm being the time when the internet goes down. says, basically, make of that what you will.
sure seems convenient.
it would be great if someone who was online at the rally could verify if their connection stopped at 5.48pm, or if someone from the rally could show stuff they filmed at that time, or thereafter.
