A top Trump political aide has suggested there are 'rumors out there' about Kamala Harris, but there was no evidence to support the claim.
It comes as the Democratic National Convention begins in Chicago with Joe Biden set to bid his farewell.

James Blair, political director of the Trump 2024 campaign, wrote on X:

There are 2 schools of thought on the candidates that were hand picked by the DNC insiders to run on this ticket...
1.) Pick the most corruptable, least capable and least likely to be able to steer the ship of State so that the deepstate insiders will have free reign to continue running the country as they have done for the past 4 years.
2.) Throw their cannon fodder trash at an un-winnable election as not to permanently damage any of their candidates who have an actual chance at a political future. If the candidates were Newsome, Whitmer, Shapiro, Kelly, etc... an unavoidable trouncing in 2024 will leave a long term stench on them and possibly hurt their future chances of political usefulness.
I’m not sure which one is correct. Maybe it’s both. The day drinking thing leads me toward #1.
