Why would Iran give warning before an attack?
Dumb statement by Kirby.
“We are launching our attack now so please don’t be ready!”
Kirby doesn't know what is going to happen. And the Iranian leaders probably don't know what they will do either.
I'm guessing Israel would like a shot at Iran; the sooner the better. But Israel wants a clear Fort Sumter-style attack by Iran to justify to the world whatever it is they want to do to weaken Iran long-term (destroy nuclear weapon production facilities, take out key economic sectors, and cause regime change).
Surely Iran must be developmental enough to know they can't match Israel blow for blow. Any Iranian provocation runs the risk of painting their best friend Kamala into a corner from which she can't maintain the presidency. Iranian leaders should also consider that any war with Israel may result in their (the Iranian's) permanent fatal death.
