If Donald Trump is so beatable why did stronger Dem candidates like Gavin Newsom, Gretchen Whitmer and Michelle O not jump into the Democrat contest and let Kamala Harris take the nomination unopposed? I don’t see any of these people potentially waiting another eight years for their shot at the presidency! They would have jumped in the race as soon as Biden bowed out. Something doesn’t add up here.
They went with Harris because she, as vice president, is the only one who can keep all the Biden donations.
The other candidates could not.
Why did all the top dems decide not to run against GHWB in 1992? The key a little know governor be the sacrificial lamb who went on to serve two terms as president.
Ignore the polls at your own risk. Kamala is being remade every day into the perfect candidate. She doesn’t have to campaign. The media is defining her for the low information voter, and they are going a good job. The fact that she’s done nothing of note in her life outside of performing oral sex on a married man is serving her well. She is an unknown entity to most people.

Democrats with any smarts and talent are waiting until 2028 to run for President, when Trump is out of the picture.
Harris isn’t going to win the Presidency.
The hype and good press will fade after she becomes the democrat nominee.
