I hate to victim-blame but she should’ve known what she was getting into. She should never have entered that ring in the first place.
I don’t blame her for testing the waters.
I remember watching GI Jane (a movie) with my daughter when she was young. They had a never-ending fight scene where Demi Moore held her own vs. Viggo Mortensen. I was skeptical, but she believed it. I hope she knows better by now.
I remember a woman sportscaster asking Serena Williams if she was going to compete against the men. Serena wisely remained silent.
My point is that young women may think they can compete against athletic men. After a couple of punches, she knew better.
All the female athletes in every category should announce that the games have stopped until sanity is restored.
