Olympic Games organisers have said they are "sorry" that scenes in Friday's opening ceremony caused offence.
A banquet sequence featuring drag artists in particular came in for criticism from Christian groups, who felt it parodied Leonardo da Vinci's painting 'The Last Supper'.
That famous 15th Century work depicts a key biblical scene.
The Catholic Church in France was among critics, saying the ceremony featured "scenes of derision and mockery of Christianity".
A US telecommunications company, C Spire, said it would be pulling its advertising around the Olympic Games after being "shocked by the mockery of the Last Supper during the opening ceremonies".

This is not about offended people.
The problem here is about the Global Olympics ceremony celebrating Satan and Satan’s work openly and literally nakedly in front of the world and presenting it as appropriate and normal.
It is about presenting at the Olympic Games a mockery of the most sacred expression of sacrifice, the Eucharist, the death of God’s son Christ our Lord, who died for our sake, to save these very sinners and all of us.
This heinous perversion of the most sacred sacrifice of our Lord is not an artistic expression. It is an IMPIETY: a lack of respect, for God and religion.
The perversts responsible for this abomiation will answer to the Lord Almighty for this heinous and disgusting display of Satanic mockery of the Sacrifice of Christ.

Yup. If we're offended it's our problem...well, the same guy who designed this one is also reportedly in charge of the closing ceremonies. That, sadly, is a long way from behind us. I doubt the organizers will care much at that point, either.

Thanks for pointing that out. I actually watched the part where the weirdo on the horse walked (stalked, is more like it) up to the flagpole carrying the flag, handed it to the guy standing there, and then the guy he handed it to unfolded the flag and affixed it to the cord. I stopped watching at that point.
Makes you wonder though, doesn’t it. Was that a sign, indicative of what might possibly be coming for the “Olympics” in Paris this year? These days... I find myself wondering about a whole lot of things.
