Gavin Newsom and the California Air Resource Board have decreed that 2035 is the target date, to start to phase out the internal combustion engine in California.
A few other states are also following California’s lead.
The way people talk about red States and blue states, in the future , could we be talking about states which have banned the internal combustion engine, and free states which allow people to have a free choice of what sort of vehicle to drive?
It is a cliche but elections have consequences. If you believe in force feeding electric cars on America then it’s clear who you should vote for. If you oppose that sort of mandate then it’s also clear who you should support.
California will look like Cuba in more ways than that.
