There is another article on the Post site that includes that Kelley Little neighbor who said the family were Trump supporters but at some point unexplained took the signage down.
Also in this other article in the post they claim (citing this British channel https://www.channel4.com/news/revealed-trump-campaign-secret-data-on-gunmans-family ) that the social working family of a Libertarian father and Democrat mother were targeted for campaign purposes as pogenital supporters to reach out to.

Still unexplained is why a registered libertarian would be called a Republican and also unexplained is the lack, so far as we know, of political donations to conservative organizations by any of them.

Also unexplained is his donation to an obscure progressive organization through ActBlue right around the time another witness says Crooks and/or his friends made a threat of a school shooting.

Has anyone researched the one organization he donated to?

I think his political affiliation is up in the air, but it would be unsurprising if the kid were either Republican or conservative, although it would be preferable, for 2024, if he were both Democrat and progressive. JFK wasn’t killed by a Republican (or the so-called atmosphere of hate in Dallas invented out of whole cloth by Jackie Onassis, with the connivance of JFK’s mythmakers) - Oswald was a communist unhappy that JFK was not left-wing enough for him. James Garfield was killed by a favor-seeker of the same party. The thing with people who aren’t all there is you never know what will set them off.
