Was never a concern of mine, Trump is not a literal moron who would somehow believe Gun Control would have prevented the state sponsored assassination attempt on his life.
Especially since he may have to rely on gunowners to take out future assassins as the SS doesn't appear to be very trustworthy right now.

The assassination attempt had nothing to do with gun rights. There simply is no linkage no matter how hard Leftists try to blame the gun.
The authors are babbling fools. Gun laws will not prevent a determined shooter like Crooks from obtaining a gun. Note that Crooks did not purchase the rifle he used. "Gun laws" only prevent legal gun owners from obtaining guns.
I expected no less from Trump. He isn’t ruled by his feelings. There was an Israeli peace activist taken from a kibbutz on October 7th. She was released 57 or so days later, and now supports the annihilation of Hamas. Emotion based beliefs are mercurial.
The Second Amendment doesn’t grant any right. It restricts government from limiting a right the people already have.
