A reporter probably asked her if she received a call from Biden. She answered that she refused to take the call.
So, then, of course, the reporter would’ve asked if she’d heard from Trump.
If Trump hadn’t called her by that point, she would’ve answered no.
IOW, she probably just answered a question. But, the news media hoped to make an issue out of it.
