They have given up on winning POTUS. Picking Harris is about rallying the base to avoid downstream losses. That would be their play to keep the Senate and not deepen the GOP House majority. Look to hear the media fawn over Harris and her electability. Knowing full well she will lose.
The Dems need to nominate a Manchin type Dem to beat Trump but they are incapable of it.

For Democrats, it's all about keeping the Senate and trying to re-take the HoR at this point to do one thing, and one thing only: Impeach Trump Again.
If they get the HoR and Senate, they'll impeach Trump in the HoR on their first day, then move it to the Senate where it won't have the required 2/3rds majority but that doesn't matter to them. They'll change the Senate rules somehow and force a majority rule vote to impeach & remove, forcing a Constitutional Crisis.
That's how much the Democrats hate Trump and the United States of America too.
For the Democrats, it's all about dividing us as a people and destroying the country in the process. This is their plan. #Bank on that.
