IIRC, this government is prohibited from compiling a gun registry database, period. They aren’t even allowed to keep all of the Forms 4473 that are filed (only when the gun seller goes out of business do those forms go to the government, and that is only so they can track where a specific gun went, i.e., when one is used in a crime ). Special tracking via credit card is the same thing. Hell no.

Yes, but when did that ever stop them? They'll keep the records anyways and who's going to know or be able to do anything about it?
