Something we've noted on this forum for some months now is coming into play. It's that there is no way to move Dementia Joe out without either his cooperation or that of at least 1/3 of the Republicans in the Senate and House. He has enough delegates to take the nomination now unless the Dems make some really radical changes in their party rules. Yes, the Rules Committee meets before the convention but its rulings are supposed to apply to the next convention, not the one at hand. Unless they change that too. Which action might just break the party in two.
Obama is just “going through the motions” as an ex democrat President who has to back his former VP.
He knows Biden is finished, but he has to maintain team camaraderie for optics.

Of course, Obama wants Biden to stay as president. Obama controls Biden and is actually running the country now. Obama fears having Harris as president because she is an egotistical idiot who would do it her own (idiotic) way and ignore Obama. Obama wants no one but Biden, so he can have a fourth term.
