I’m on your side about this. Once again the left wants to confuse the issue so they can add some kind of credibility to their specious argument. They want us to confuse people in your situation with invaders who just walk across the border and demand stuff from us.
The legal route takes too long, costs too much, and burdens those who want to do things the right way. The illegal route is being rewarded.

My greatest fear is that Biden will pardon ALL illegals for the act of crossing the border illegally, thus making it far easier for them to obtain citizenship. Right behind that is a narrow “victory “ in both Houses and the Presidency, and on January 21 they grant citizenship to all of these people - the country is then over, as the Dems will have a permanent lock on power.
The democrats are in the poverty business the immigrants will just be in a poverty trap that the democrats make money off of until they are replaced.

During the few years living in Puerto Rico years ago, there was an organized scam going on whereby foreign nationals from the Caribbean and South America would visit PR or the American Virgin Islands, marry a local girl (US citizen), apply and receive a green card, dump the girl (often with a child by then) and disappear into the mass of NYC population.
