No crimes went undone
Here in my suburb of Seattle they want to build an apartment building for homeless people. Drugs and booze will be allowed. “Hey - you can do drugs and drink in your own house - why can’t they!?”
There is already a place like this in Seattle. An undercover reporter was inside of it talking to people. One guy was moving out as it was worse than living on the street. “There’s more rats inside here than I’ve ever seen living in the woods.”
Another guy that he had spoken to was trying to get help from the on-site counselor for his drug addictions. Complaining that the counselor was never around. The guy ended up dying from an overdose shortly after the interview.
lol! Well to bad! The elites are going to make it work $$$$$$$ right here in the good ole USA! lol

hmmmm... where in my post did I say “don’t help others”? Calipornia is drowning in debt.... they are drowning in homeless.... they are drowning in illegal immigrants... they are flat out drowning and they spend money like this to house homeless... I hope it works out. I hope they put US citizens who need help in the complex.... I hope a lot of things go well. But having observed human nature for the past 60 some odd years it wont work out. If you are going to be insulting that is your choice. I do MY best to help those that are in need. In fact I have personally helped 10 homeless folks find shelter and a job... I don’t know you and won’t make assumptions... God bless

In days gone by that would have been a serious laugh-line. Today, it’s protected behavior.
The “help others” is a reference to a sign we have in our house.

The SOBS cheering for the killing of civilians in wars? Then calling for homeless people to disappear or die. Oh how inconvenient it is for them. Seniors their age falling on hard times and require help is soooo beneath dignity.
BTW I mentioned to one other “fine” person who took her time to pm me and “claim” since they are all druggies and criminals, they can just go piss off.
Anyway, I told her to help just a little she could go watch YouTube videos like Invisible People, or some other of choice. Since they make money on views for their fund drives, it helps.
Don’t even have to watch the whole thing.
But, these people are ALL, druggies and scum according to some.
This is the cue for a new, more “diverse” Melrose Place reboot ...
Is there any numerical limit that you would place on how many freeloaders the housing has to support to insure that one homeless vet has a roof over his/her head?
It...is...a...local...issue.
Not....a....national....issue.
Volunteering..is..key..community.
It entails personal morals.
I have CONSTANTLY...indicated the very first people to help are seniors who have fallen onto hard times.
The addicted/mental is a whole other issue and health departments have to address those.
Instead, we get people, specifically on this piss hole of a site, making disgraceful statements like..”They got themselves into it and since they are all druggies, they can die.”
Maybe you all need to stop and talk to them. Find out just how bad your ignorance is.
Ask them to tell you how they became homeless.
And under NO CIRCUMSTANCES, offer them money. Offer food, water, items to help them survive.
You’ll find that they can’t afford rents. Can’t afford meds. Etc. And the employment they desire can’t be had since they haven’t a place to prepare for job interviews.
But..they are ALL FREELOADERS..right?
How many Dem politicians lined their pockets with kickbacks from this? 🤔

Veterans can get help if they want.
