Yeah, I live in a tiny rural town outside Charlotte and my house has increase 4X in value since I bought it foreclosed 10 years ago.
People are BEGGING to move in here.
We moved here two years ago and paid about 50% more than we should have, but we wanted a specific area. Is what it is. If I sold today, I’d make a bit, but not much. The place is a geographical oddity though. Fifteen minutes from everywhere and if I go to the Costco down the road on a Saturday, I’m magically transported to Mumbai.
