A majority of voters (51 percent) believe their financial position is worse off under President Joe Biden’s economic policies, a Financial Times/Michigan Ross poll recently found.
Biden’s poor economy for Main Street is the number one issue facing voters in the 2024 election. The average Wisconsin family lost $21,981 because of the increased cost of living under Biden, the Republican National Committee estimated in May.
In Biden’s America, a McDonald’s Big Mac burger, a medium beverage, and a medium fry meal costs $18 in some locations, up $10 from 2018 when former President Donald Trump was in office.

Not crippled yet, but it certainly has been constraining.
All anyone has to do is look at their grocery bill to know the damage Biden has caused to their personal finances. Prices are up ≈ 30% since Biden took office.
After what he’s done to the economy and allowed a wide-open border, he should be in Carter 1980 territory right now and lose by a massive landslide.
Are there that many stupid voters? The parasitic class, illegals, I understand, but working people?
My dear friend sent me a photo yesterday of his usual breakfast at MacDonald’s - Egg McMuffin, hash browns and coffee - over $12.00 now.
We got two fry bread tacos at the LA County fair and a small drink - came to $41. I didn’t see the price before we ordered and was shocked when it was rung up.
My mother used to take all the kids over to MacDonald’s a few years ago for the “sundaes” on the $1 menu - she also loved her “senior citizen’s” coffee which was .60. She could get everyone a treat and her coffee and it was well under $10.
Now you can’t get a Big Mac for that.
I miss the chicken wrap off the $1 menu - either grilled or breaded, came in a tortilla wrap and was delicious.
Those days are long gone..
My son and his friends tell me this every day, late 20s/early 30s, all in the tech industry. My husband and I, 30 years ago, were able to afford a home here on two teachers' salaries - that would be unheard of now. These kids make six figure incomes and it's not enough for a home.
The only hope they have is to inherit something - and not all of them are in that position. My home is paid off, Thank God, and my son will inherit it when I die.
"But at least he isn't Hitler..."
